I’ve been traveling a lot for work in the past few weeks, and while I haven’t been able to take normal outfit photos from lots of angles, I wanted to share some of the things I’ve been wearing with you. After all, the whole reason I started posting outfit photos in the first place was to show what I actually wear to work.

As I’ve mentioned before, my job is a little unusual right now in that I don’t go in to an office, and I have to plan my outfit based on whatever I’m doing that day. For example, if I’m going to be clomping around in the desert and climbing in tanks, a dress and heels is not going to work.

Of course, I can wear a dress occasionally… though I’ve been sticking to flats lately because of all the walking and standing I end up doing.

I also got to visit the set of “The Last Ship” when they were filming at the Navy base in San Diego, and met Dr. McSteamy! It ended up being really cold that day, so I probably should have worn tights and a warmer sweater. But at least I didn’t wear heels.

I may be overdoing the side braid. But, pro tip: A topknot doesn’t fit under a helmet.
