Coats can be kind of a pain.

You need one to go with everything, which is basically impossible for one garment. And since your coat may be the only item most people see you in, you want it to be cute. I tend to go a bit overboard with coats (and everything, if we’re being honest), but I love to have at least one in a fun color or print. I also tend to wear the fun one as much as possible.

That’s why I’m super excited to see all the pink coats available this year. Back in the days before easy online shopping (they were simpler, but much more annoying times), I went through a months-long process to order a pink coat from French Connection that didn’t even fit. I had to send it back. But a few years ago, I finally got a hot pink coat from J.Crew and I LOVE it. I highly recommend getting one for yourself. (Or, if you don’t like pink, try red. I got a red coat last year and it’s super versatile).

I know, I know. I’m crazy. It’s also not cold here yet, and even when it gets “cold,” it will probably never be heavy coat weather. But my parents live in Michigan and my mother-in-law lives in northern Kentucky, so I’m not getting rid of my coats anytime soon.
