This morning I got an e-mail from WordPress with my blog stats for the year: How many posts I published, how many photos and some of the most popular posts. Then Toby suggested I do a post about the top 10 recipes of 2010.
According to my site statistics, bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin was by far the most-viewed recipe, which I guess isn’t too strange given that 2010 was a big year for bacon. Here are all 10, by page views:
1. Bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin
2. Watermelon sorbet
3. Smith Island cake
4. Cinnamon rolls
5. Hummingbird cake
6. Sweet corn pancakes
7. Chalupas
8. Pink rainbow cupcakes
9. White bread
10. Life-changing oatmeal
Some of these were a little surprising to me, especially because things people ask me to make all the time — like monster cookies, chocolate peanut butter cake and pb&j bars — didn’t make the cut.
So, what were your favorite recipes and meals of 2010? Is there anything you’d like me to try in 2011? And let me know what you think of my re-organized recipe page. I hope it’s a little easier to find what you’re looking for.
