There is this awesome thing in NYC called Fashion’s Night Out. It features all sorts of parties and entertainment and giveaways and supermodels. It is so fabulous that even Serena and Blair will be there.

But not all of us live in NYC. And we only wish we could dress like Serena and Blair (and even Little J., sometimes, although we are too old for that).

Still, there is hope, D.C.-area residents. Because what we lack in glamour, we make up for in… cupcakes.

Georgetown is hosting its own Fashion’s Night Out celebration Friday, complete with free cupcakes, a semi-free gift at J.Crew and a garden party at my all-time favorite store: Betsey Johnson. So go get your fashion (and frosting) on!

***Updated: Do not despair if you don’t live in NYC or DC. There are Fashion’s Night Out events in lots of places, including Birmingham, Michigan; Atlanta and L.A.. Nothing in Jacksonville, N.C.
